AEC Extrusion Symposium

Replacing the former Management Conference as the so-called fall meeting of AEC, the new Extrusion Symposium will feature a program of greater technical breadth and depth, with concurrent workshops in various extrusion-related disciplines.

The AEC Extrusion Symposium will be held during Aluminum Week.  Aluminum Week will incorporate the Aluminum Association's Annual Meeting and the AEC Extrusion Symposium which features business and industry speakers, industry outlook, the Aluminum Marketplace - an expo of aluminum extrusion suppliers, and AEC-Tech which includes an Aluminum Anodizers Council Workshop and other concurrent sessions.

In place of a series of brief Focus Session presentations (typical of the former Management Conference programs), AEC-Tech concurrent workshops on Wednesday afternoon, September 22, will enable participants to explore key aspects of aluminum extrusion in an interactive learning environment.

Members are encouraged to save the dates and plan to come to Chicago in September 2010 for what promises to be a rewarding educational experience.
