Meeting the requirements of ASTM B221 or B221M is often more complicated than most producers realize, and many users of the standard find the links to other standards referenced by B221/B221M confusing. This session will examine the requirements of ASTM B221/B221M and its associated standards for Aluminum Extruders and make suggestions on how to incorporate them into an extruder's practices. At the conclusion of the session, attendees should have a better understanding of what it takes to show compliance to the ASTM B221/B221M standard.
