What is the supervisor's role in facility safety and methods for accomplishing that role? Industry in general has, for years, used the magic wand method for appointing and training new supervisors, which is a sink or swim mentality. Join us for this "must attend" webinar when Mel Mitchell of MI Metals will show us how supervisors need to be trained on how to supervise and lead. This training can be the first step in actually training supervisors to be supervisors; how to lead by example and make corrections in subordinates behaviors that are positive and how to be proactive, as should be the case when it comes to safety.

Melvin R Mitchell, CHCM, CHMM, CSP Is currently the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety for MI Metals, Inc., an Aluminum Extruder with 5 facilities located in Pennsylvania, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and Arizona.
