Spectrum Metal Finishing Celebrates 25 Years in Metal Coatings Industry
Thursday, January 25, 2018
On February 1, 2018, Spectrum Metal Finishing, Inc. will celebrate its 25th anniversary! Founded in 1993, Spectrum has provided the architectural commercial construction world with powder and liquid coating applications.
After purchasing assets of J&S Aluminum, Neil Chrisman III and Thomas Hutch, of Aerolite Group, built Spectrum Metal Finishing with only thirteen employees and a humble facility of 30,000 square feet. Now, Spectrum is home to 65 employees and expanded to an eight-acre facility with 70,000 square feet and two finishing lines!
“I think our growth comes from the passion that I’ve had for this business for over 40 years,” says Neil Chrisman III. “In today’s world, ‘I care’ is not just a nice phrase — it’s a two-word recipe for excellence and success.”
Spectrum's most notable projects include:
- The World Trade Center
- PNC Bank
- Hudson Yards and Pier 17 in New York City
- Detroit Redwings Arena
- U.S. Embassy in London
Spectrum Metal Finishing looks forward to continued growth and success in the years to come.
