AEC Releases 2017 Buyers’ Guide
March 1, 2017; Wauconda, Illinois – The Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) has released the 2017 edition of its popular publication, the AEC Buyers Guide. As a comprehensive directory, the Buyers’ Guide contains listings of AEC aluminum extruder members, which feature such information as company headquarters, plant locations, contact information, maximum press circle size, forms produced, and types of services offered. The guide is organized in a convenient format, arranged alphabetically and geographically, and includes an extensive capabilities chart. The Buyers’ Guide also includes listings for AEC Supplier and Producer Members.
The Buyers’ Guide also includes valuable content that provides readers with interesting facts about aluminum and aluminum extrusions, including an article, “Aluminum Extrusions: A Key Component in Sustainable Solutions” which highlights some examples of how aluminum extrusions are providing design solutions that contribute to sustainability, an important priority that is driving product and process development, as well as extrusion usage in transportation, energy, lighting and construction applications.
An essential reference tool for designers, engineers, specifiers, and purchasers of aluminum profiles, the AEC Buyers’ Guide is one of the most requested publications provided by AEC and is available in both printed and electronic formats. The 2017 Buyers’ Guide will be distributed to more than 8,000 selected designers, engineers and product specifiers and other interested individuals in various industries, including building and construction, transportation, marine, electrical, industrial and more.
