Join the Aluminum Recyclers Council (ARC) as we host a webinar presented by Greg Wittbecker, Mike Southwood and Doug Hilderhoff of the CRU Aluminum Group. The webinar will provide an update on the scrap and secondary aluminum markets with topics including:
- CRU capabilities in research and transparent price reporting in multiple markets
- Primary supply-demand markets
- Key trade actions and Rusal sanctions
- Current condition in scrap, addressing both high grade and secondary grades.

Greg Wittbecker is a Senior Analyst for CRU's Aluminum Group based in Pittsburgh. In this capacity, he supports North American and Global fundamental aluminum analysis.
Greg joined CRU in January 2018, following his retirement as Vice President, Industry Analysis, Alcoa. During his 14 years at Alcoa, Greg held director roles in analysis, logistics, recycling policy and corporate strategy.
Mike Southwood is a Senior Analyst with CRU's Aluminum team and joined the company in 2006 via the acquisition of Commodity Metals Management Company. Mike covers the full value chain of the North American aluminum sector. He also serves as CRU's in-house technical analyst for all LME metals prices, exchange rates, and oil prices, providing critical insight into the risks around short-term price movements.
Doug joined CRU as team leader for North American Aluminum in 2017. Doug is based in CRU’s Pittsburgh office and his responsibilities encompass the entire aluminum value chain. Doug provides key insights into the North American aluminum market and contributes to many of CRU’s aluminum publications.
