Member Webinar: OSHA Hazard Communication Requirements and Best Practices to go BEYOND Compliance

Every Aluminum Extruder is REQUIRED to have a Hazard Communication program that meets the requirements of 29CFR1910.1200. This has been a requirement for decades and yet it is still one of the most cited standards, year after year, for enforcement actions, in general industry.

Several years ago OSHA updated the standard to make it a Globally Harmonized Standard (GHS) and reflect more of the same information seen in other parts of the world.

In this session we will review the basic requirements for Safety Data Sheets (SDS), labelling, and training and then we will discuss, not only what is required, but ways that you can go beyond the standard.

Speaker:

Melvin Mitchell
Director of Environmental, Health and Safety
