Featured Workshop:

Determining the Strength of Aluminum Extruded Members

Aluminum extrusions are often used where they must provide structural support – for example, as framing members in screened enclosures around swimming pools, as mullions in curtain walls, or as beams supporting flatbed trailers for highway use. For successful applications of these types, designers must be able to determine the forces that the extrusions can withstand.

Join us in Chicago, Illinois on May 14, 2018, for a one-day seminar, held in conjunction with
EDU '18, that will provide invaluable insights and information using the Specification of Aluminum Structures, published by The Aluminum Association, enabling designers to exploit the versatility of aluminum extrusions.

Attend this seminar to learn about the tools available to overcome the challenge of calculating the strength of complicated aluminum cross sections. This seminar is taught by Randy Kissell, P.E., design engineer and author with 40 years of experience in aluminum structures.
